i didn't follow it either. but basically, amber heard accused johnny depp of domestic abuse. depp sued a newspaper in the UK for defamation for calling him a domestic abuser and lost that case, then depp also sued amber and a newspaper in the US for defamation for calling him a domestic abuser and won that case. so it's a mess because different courts came to different conclusions and people on social media have such strong opinions on both sides.

i wish she hadn't invited him to show and gotten involved in that mess at all. i hope it's not true

Johnny Depp is a certified wife beater with 12  counts of domestic abuse per the UK High Court. He did win the case in the US though. 

 

However she’s inserting herself in something that she doesn’t need to, and it’s only going to bring controversy. I thought she would’ve learned after what happened a few years ago

I’ll keep my eyes and ears on R9 and the Super Bowl obviously but the consistent acknowledgment of abusers doesn’t sit right with me. Chris Brown, R Kelly, A$ap Rocky, the Pettys, now Johnny Depp and for sure others we are not even aware of. We cannot blame her young age anymore so this just shows she doesn’t respect herself nor other women and I cannot support that
