Could it be that maybe the color red was exclusive to the GUTS era? She combined purple and red a lot, especially during the tour. Maybe purple will continue to be the underlining color while she introduces different ones throughout. Think about Sabrina and her baby blue branding: once she established it with Short N' Sweet, it took the back seat during MBF while still becoming part of her brand.

I think I said this somewhere before but I believe it would be a smart move for Olivia to continue her brand without throwing everybody off like she did with the GUTS cover reveal (I remember people were PISSED that there was another purple cover)

Is it just me but it's kinda alarming how Olivia is being sexualized by weirdos online nowadays like yeah she's a very gorgeous woman but she's not even selling a sexy pop star persona. I see it on Reddit and Twitter most of time

I'm sticking with May 8th for first single prediction!

For Guts, their label deadline to finish the album was April. First single came out in June. Similar timelines.

What we know so far:

-the photo was likely taken in early February based on Olivia's Lancôme TikTok ad.

-final stages of recording likely means they're on the remastering stage, which shouldn't really take longer than two weeks.

-vinyls take at least thee months to produce depending on the album's duration

-this means that OR3 could realistically come out anywhere between June to August.

The lead will probably come out anytime between April to June. I'm guessing late April at the earliest in order to avoid Coachella buzz.

I'm hoping it is in May with no singles like HMHAS.

I also hope she does the no pre-release singles thing. It's fun to be surprised.

Here's Olivia basically confirming that Interscope listened to the album. It's complete.

Yeah I would like less time between single and album too. Also the time between single announcement and single release was like 10 days.

eta: I actually underestimated this. It was 17 days!!! between Vampire's announcement and release.

I'm sure they have a deadline but finishing an album is stressful either way. We know Dan's a perfectionist and this album has so much potential.

So maybe not totally done recording… she was spotted at Electric Lady Studios in NY over the wknd. She did record part of Guts at ELS.

I think she's announcing something on St Patrick's day (Tuesday 3/17) since she's been Easter egging "luck" a lot.

March: Lead single announcement

April: Lead + album announcement

May: SOUR 5th anniversary (Interscope announced an upcoming May vinyl drop this morning)

June: OR3 release

only problem is that it would be messy for her team to promote OR3 and SOUR at the same time…

I just want them to forget about the whole Sour thing and never mention it again tbh. Everyone's eager for OR3. Announcements for Sour covers over the next couple months are just going to leave fans (me) disappointed.

I definitely think her birthday party and the other one in LA were pap walks, scheduled by her team. To get her name and face back out there. But I really don't think the NY ones have been. She's always papped more in NYC.

A special Interscope vinyl pressing coming in May for SOUR. I imagine this will come before any OR3 album drop so how far out will that put us ?
