Like @CozySkin put it very bluntly lol, I don't think so. She usually loves long teasing periods and the Grammy Museum interview didn't feel like anything other than live performances was coming soon.

i'm fine with no music until next year if we see her a lot towards the end of the year. if the strategy is to stay in people's face i'm all for it.

Let's just be happy that we have gotten more perfomances this year than previous.

It is very obvious that RCA was responsible for getting her those huge stages back in 2018-2019. When she decided not to go the Motivation route, they stopped booking her those big stages. Her old manager might've sucked booking her gigs on his own. Lydia has done more than Brandon. And again, it is not lost on me that we got more performances after leaving RCA.

It's good that Lydia is getting her back out there. Now, it is time to start teasing new music.

A good piece of this is incorrect but I appreciate your enthusiasm.

Labels typically aren't involved in booking stages for the artist. That's a function of management. Brandon was very hands on with the 2018-19 run and getting her the opening spot on Sweetener tour. I guess people don't know but Brandon is a nepo baby so he had industry connections via his dad lol. He knows tops industry players personally through that. He was a mess but does deserve his credit.

Now for Lydia to impress me, just keep Normani booked to a gig every month from now on. No month should pass without a brand deal or performance.

If chopped influencers, Love Island people, and 5 minute tiktok famous "artists" can get monthly things, Normani can too. So far Lydia has done good from last Fall to now (given Normani has no new music out yet she's always around doing stuff again).

I agree, she needs to stay booked with at least one thing a month for a year straight. All it takes is one performance going viral to get interest in her again and enough buzz to drop a new song to test the waters
