My problem with Lydia is we've been on the longest roll out to NOTHING so far. It's almost a year Normani started popping back out fully and making a viral moment or two every couple months.

If she's coming with music, then let's do the simple things like pre saves farming, snippets, teasing, actually discussing in interviews the music direction, etc. The things that will help build hype (or at least keep attention) on a future release (single, album, whatever). Also, get Normani on some collabs.

I do think a Grammy convo like this, is def in prep to drop a song. Certainly there's a reason she got this booked outside Lydia promoting herself for the 100th time.

We are two weeks into July. It has been TWO months since Normani and Coi Leray did that video on IG talking about the summer will be lit with Kehlani.

People predicted they were all doing a song together - nothing announced

People thought they would be the opening acts on tour - nope

So what is the plan? Did they have nothing planned? Did Coi and Normani just make the video just to make it?

Kehlani's doing a remix EP/album which she's mentioned many times already. So it's all up to her, my guess is it'll come out right before she tours

In hindsight, Normani somehow doing 12k with no physicals, no promo, and no visuals was ok. All she had was a garage park listening party and a dream.

Never bought this story tbh. There just wasn't enough general public interest to warrant solo albums from Dinah and Ally. And Lauren just didn't demonstrate the work ethic or business savvy back when there would've been a path for her in 2018-2019.

Ally was super close to an album with Lowkey Lips, Higher, No Good. Covid ruined her small emerging fanbase.

Dinah was never going to drop a solo album since none of her music was sticking out.
