The industry was already losing black execs the last 5+ years and nobody gaf.

It's a bigger issue and those execs are also to blame, they didn't nurture talent. They hoarded/shelved them and didn't give them the boost they needed to become household names which would keep their jobs secure see: Tinashe, Normani, Chloe Bailey, etc.

If those girls blew up and were the main girlies of the industry, the money would be rolling in and nobody would be getting fired.
