I want to oficially announce that I am burning my stand card and will never apply again. :gaycat6: The latest pcd drama and her lack of content other than bikini pictures was the last straw for me. Wish her the best. She just making the horrible desicions and being silent. Even though she wasn't only one to blame in the cancelled reunion she played a huge part in the drama. She wasted the tour timeline for literally nothing. Ugh i am so annoyed and sad but always have a soft spot for her.

I still like her, but I've lost interest. I don't blame her for standing up for herself in the PCD drama, but if she doesn't want to participate with Robin in control, why not release solo work? Wasn't "React" originally a solo song? And the excuse there is that she's a "perfectionist" and afraid to flop. So basically she will keep pushing her release dates, shelving her work and we'll be getting nothing. In the meantime other "flop" acts like Marina, Charli XCX, Banks, Azealia Banks, Iggy Azalea, Normani, Chloe x Halle, Keyshia Cole, K. Michelle, Kim Petras, Ciara etc. release regularly.

I guess her team just pushes her towards projects that guarantee her a paycheck (IG endorsements, Masked Singer).

She's so talented, I truly wish she'd step up to the plate as a solo artist.

I still listen to Big Fat Lie consistently.

Bang, Electric Blue, Little Boy, Heartbreaker, Just a Girl >

If they held on a bit longer, the tour could have finally kicked off this spring/summer.

Nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards are going to be announced in just over a week. Critics really seemed to like Nicole in Annie. Do we think she’s got a shot at being nominated?

I didn't care about succes after BFL for her, but even during the pandemic she was doing random stuff. Scrapping Anti Party Anthem (despite being a terrible song, it fitted the times), talking about that Evolution of love EP, then earier this year talking about The Warrior at an event she didn't even wanted fans :rip:  Like I still like her, but girl really also gets on my nerve.

Doll Domination, sheet music was featured in a video where Nicole recorded Hush Hush with Ron Fair. For a whie fans thought Hush Hush was called Psycho for that reason

Thank you!! I love R&B Nicole (she can sing anything, though), that was such a great sound for her (along with BFL).

Not a lot of Scherzy news recently but here’s a throwback clip. Back in 2005, they played Don’t Cha on Ellen and Mariah said “I love that song!”:

Her music career is so irrelevant that this is the news we get. :deadbanana4:

It'll come "soon." How many years have we heard this? Since 2014? :deadbanana4:

On a brighter note, she sang Memory (always Memory and Purple Rain :skull:) for 50 seconds on The Masked Singer (I guess that's all her manager could get her :skull:) and the 15 comments she's getting under each video are actually 100% positive, which is shocking because people are always finding a way to drag her.

I'm not even joking, but she should have started post covers on her YouTube channel (and now IG and TikTok) for attention after PCD disbanded in 2010. Another opportunity to promote herself lost.

Thanks for posting this clip!

Seeing this reminded me that Nicole has spoken about how she views this next project as her Sasha Fierce moment.

Maybe half of the songs on this project will be more warrior-like and the other half will be “graceful”, as she calls it?

The way she’s making jokes about her music on TikTok made me so angry. Like, girl just be thankful for the few fans you’re having :rip:

I will be patient and give Nicole and her team the benefit of the doubt but it’s frustrating to see them miss opportunities build up the fan base.

Some examples:

- From looking at Nicole’s socials, how would a casual Nicole fan have known that she would be performing in Sydney? There are probably many Aussie’s that are fans that didn’t even know about the performance.

- Why don’t her socials have any pictures or videos of her show? Posting these would help remind her followers about her talent and maybe they’d remember those clips when they hear she’s coming to their city. Why not show us anything from behind the scenes (a vocal warmup, wardrobe prep, rehearsal footage, how the dancers were chosen, etc.), especially since you clearly put in so much effort to get ready for the show?

- Her That’s My Jam performance is doing incredibly well but you wouldn’t know she was even on the show from looking at her socials at this moment.

- Similar to Pretty, Victorious, and React, she debuted a brand new song with a live performance.  If I thought the song sounded great, how can I find out when it gets released? Can I pre-save it?

I know that none of this is new but it doesn’t change how frustrating it is to watch. Especially because we know that her team is very talented. From looking at her TikToks, it’s clear that she has a team that’s capable of executing on a social media strategy and producing high-quality content. It’d be nice to see some of their attention go towards highlighting the thing that separates Nicole from everyone else: her voice.

I hope that I’m overreacting and that they’ve already got all of this figured out.
