Everybody and their grandma are releasing albums but Nicki...  If only she put as much effort into her music as she does ranting on twitter...

I hate how her career turnt out in terms of release gaps.

 

Surprise release and quick turn arounds are a thing for everybody in the industry but her. Waiting 4/5 years for a bad album shouldn't be the norm. 

I wonder if she is too self absorbed number wise and she is scared to flop or if she just does not have the motivation.

She could still feed us without recording new stuff. I would love to see PTO and Sucka Free re-releases. I'm sure she has some rejects from her mixtape days as well - The Lost Tapes are a proof of that. But the way she's handling her back catalogue and discography in general is alarming. BMUS imo was a disaster. The fact that she uploaded those old ass 128 kbps files on streaming services... No remaster, no nothing. She could have at least removed those DJ tags that are all over her verses in some songs. Those random droplets from TPP era on BMUS, random Queen rejects on TPP anniversary. Queen rejects on her newest album... At this point we will get Queen anniverary in 3 years with Make a Baby and Mamita as bonus tracks. Thank God I've been organizing my music library myself for years otherwise it would have been straight nightmare for me.

That's quite random but I would like to hear some rejects from Roman Reloaded. I don't like that album at all but I'm sure there are some interesting stuff in the vault from that time and I'm pretty sure that's the only album of hers we haven't got any leaks from.

Currently listening to Pink Friday 2 in full for the first time in over a year and wow... this album did not age well outside of a few songs. It's crazy to think we waited 5 years for this.

 

On the other hand, I listened to Queen in full yesterday and it still sounds great (outside of those 4 or 5 pop/singing songs). It's such a shame that hate train and the beef with Cardi overshadowed that album. She was really rapping her ass off. Coco Chanel is a career highlight. Her 2nd best album after The Pinkprint.

One of the best songs in her career and not a single live performance or music video she's sick

 

 

 

I think Queen has waaaaay more chops than PF2 and they are even more jarring as the tone of the album is more serious.
