also... I just did a complete Madonna discography run through the past week or so and her Ray of Light-> Music -> American Life -> Confessions album run is just insane to me

 

I know Music and AL aren't as popular as other albums but I really do enjoy them. ROL and Confessions are definitely her strongest though IMO

I believe that's in relation to that thread about # of weeks Madonna and Lady Gaga spent at #1 in the Billboard Hot 100. One of the top posts on there insinuated that Madonna doesn't write her own lyrics.

but yeah, there's this documentary on TRL and the producers were saying that they know TRL had 'made it' when Madonna's management called up asking if she could appear on the show lol
