My whole Madonna kick recently was kind of inspired by my own mom. She hasn't been doing so well as of late, so I've been feeling nostalgic and thinking back to her listening to Live to Tell (her favo

Yeah same on Spotify. :skull:

And some of them aren't even listed as a new release so I randomly browse and it's like "Oh! Everybody remixes were added." :skull:

Only the one that hurts you can make you feel better
Only the one that inflicts pain can take it away

Anyone else felt like she was talking about our own interior anxiety in this part? Low key shifted the whole concept of this track for me now that I really think about it.

I finally watched the Madame X tour on Friday night - the time has come to see what I'd missed out on. It is simply a great show, that has to be said. I know she's always been extremely political, which is fine I totally agree with her politics, but it did zap the "joy" I wanted to feel a tad. It's interesting see her perform on a theatre-sized show. LOVED the interactions with the crowd.

Hated how the show was spliced together from a variety of filmed concerts, so it felt a little incohesive, but overall a fabulous show.

It's insane to me that "Holiday" is 40 years old - it's still such a fresh, fun and delicious bop.

is the tiktok of her at some random club/bar singing La Isla Bonita real? lol

it looks like a really good drag queen but i'm not a M stan. :rip:

:rip: Oh!

I wish people wouldn't do that and get us all excited. I think most of us would've been up for another collaboration between these two.

I came to ask the same question, was that for real? I can't find any video right now.

So I'm on my journey of listening to her discography, this past week and a half I've listened to True Blue, Like A Prayer, and Erotica. I also don't just listen once, some of the songs need to really marinate in my brain so I give them a few chances. I love all 3 albums!! I'd say Like A Prayer > True Blue > Erotica

The Rain music video is ART and I swear I've watched it like 100 times. White Heat, Oh Father, Rain are my favs from each respective album

I've also watched some videos on the LAP/Erotica era and the risks she took :clap3: truly the Queen of Pop for a reason. This interview had me laughing out loud, she's really so iconic

I also watched the Blond Ambition tour on YouTube and wooooooow. Truly the blueprint for all popstars I'm just in awe of her I love how she constantly pushes boundaries

She's getting dragged by media and losers for being sexy at age 65, so our current MPG can be sexy for as long as they like, she's still making a huge impact
