At this point, the lead is guaranteed to flop. No mention of it so far means zero hype from non-fans leading into it. 2 weeks lead time is simply not enough.

If the song is good it will smash. That's kind of what I miss about 2009Ga. All of her songs back then were bangerz and they were bound to smash.

Well yes, but the good song also has to connect with the public and the connection typically happens with a li'l hype and promo push. We know Gaga and her music and her lead singles; this is not going to be an instant, out-of-the-gate smash, especially from we've heard (which sounds good, just not "GP good").

 

I'm being a little Debbie Downer for sure and I 100% believe they have a plan, but it's weird that it's already the 10th and it's been silence.
