The signs are clear, but fortunately, we still have great things ahead: DWAS is doing incredibly well, LG7 lead single, LG7 in February, and there's even the possibility of a tour. With these kinds of pre-sales, it will be hard for FaD to break even (600 to 700M$), and they clearly know it. That's likely why they aren't investing much in marketing, especially since the movie already has a budget of around $200M. The only hope for this movie is strong word of mouth, but being a musical — especially a courtroom, non-energetic one — it will be a hard sell for most audiences, which will likely hurt repeat viewings. Given the current situation, if we're lucky, I could see this performing like Godzilla vs. Kong (around 600M$). But realistically, it will probably perform more like Bad Boys or Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, with a box office in the $350-500M range.
