I've been wondering, where does that "87% liked this film" come from when you google it?

 

 

Maybe it's just getting mixed up with the first film? But when you click Reviews you only get the usual J:FAD IGN/RT/MC.

I think this was their concern as well. They obviously cut a lot from her and I guess we'll never know why.

Plus the og had a lot of controversy drawing people to the theatre this one doesn't have that. Would make it 7th biggest opening in the month of October.

ok, but this is lowkey giving damage control because almost every critic so far has said her character needed more attention. she could absolutely have a full character arc where the audience essentially sees her story to completion while still feeling underdeveloped. Imagine her being in 50 minutes of the film but 35 of those minutes are Lee standing in the background with Joker.

I don't think it's bad at all for a rated R musical 

plus the article says some predicting 90m still so it could go up

You added Lady Gaga and there was so much hype on the first trailer, that 100M predictions seems reasonable.. but then the awful reviews happened.

THE WAY 70M now looked like a mega smash after the constant meltdowns by some of you

I think JFAD could open more than 100m if they did not premiere at Venice and have review embargo until few days before the release. The reviews definitely affected the BO prediction

It not premiering at Venice would set off a lot of red flags though.
