People bullied her a lot with ASIB's and HoG's interviews which made her more introvert

 

I also read a theory where she herself thinks shes been too choped out of the film therefore isnt all that excited. She also said something like that about HoG that lots of her scenes ended up on cutting room floor. She could be frustrated. But what we heard about LG7 she seems really excited about it.

Gaga excited about music again? Did I die & wake up in 2013? 

 

The fact that they didnt even dare to release a trailer/teaser where Harley and Joker are actually singing full on, the closest was that one where Gaga is whispering the song "forget ur troubles cmon get happy"

I never saw HoG until 6 months ago because of the hate train and was shocked when I finally watched it. That movie is fun as hell (and yes, a mess) but I was perched for all 3 hours.

Is it time for LG7 yet? Ughhh I need October to get here already. BTW is holding me over though. Magnum Opus indeed.

I've been a Liddo since 2009. LG7 is the most passionate she's been about releasing music since ARTPOP. It's palpable - the imagery, persona, and overall sentiment so far are is so refreshing to see. Perched, October is only getting closer. 

It's so funny to see how many losers are waiting to see her fail  the way OGHs are seething with DWAS smashing and her starring in a major film (and praised for her part) happening simultaneously. LG7 being a new creative peak is going to send them over the edge.

 

She always somehow finds a way to win in the end though and JFAD will be no exception.

Even if she doesn't get in the end, she'll probably have a respectable precursor run (she has legitimate shots for BAFTA and SAG imo). I know we all had high hopes that this role could be the one, myself included, but her being in the Oscar conversation again, 3 consecutive times, is pretty crazy. Most actors go years and multiple projects between actual Oscar players. OGHs will troll no matter what, but she's doing great. 

Tbh, I just hope she and her team don't learn the wrong lesson after Joker. Her going for the most basic, pandering films (especially awards bait like Tammy Faye, Maestro, Belfast, etc.) would be a flop overcorrection. She clearly shines with challenging roles and she should stick with them, albeit with better scripts and more consistent directors. Her best chance would be with an undeniable, go-for-broke role in a strong film that critics would rally behind.

Is the prison break scene now the grand finale? We all thought it was going to be the stairs but that's obviously been cut. Perched for JFAD of course but imagine if Gaga being edited out, bc of initial mixed reactions from Joker fans ab her casting / musical aspect, is the reason why it may not reach its full potential commercially / critically? Gar, always the controversial main character of everything she participates in. I love it.
