The tiktok a couple days ago does make it seem like she's dropping the album at once without a lead otherwise why would she say "all at the same time"?

 

I'm here for it and have always wanted her to do it. Since it worked for Billie, I could see Interscope (or even Gaga herself) pushing to do it and releasing DWAS as a "fake lead" to gain some hype and have a sure fire hit in case there's no smash on LG7 due to it potentially being experimental. It also lets DWAS stand on its own feet for two more months without having to compete with a potential imminent lead.

 

This will also put more emphasis on the body of work as a whole; and not risk the chances of a mediocre lead performance like PI/SL where they have to play catchup when the album comes to get the hype back.

 

Announcement 2nd or 3rd week of Sept with pre orders for October 25 album is the way to go. Let Joker + the OST build the hype even more for the big release all at once; and of course tease along the way to make it an event.

I'm just worried about leaks. If the whole album is dropping in two months and songs are already starting to leak…

Monsters are the most useless fan base. They don't support her but spread leaks like wildfire. OGH behavior tbh

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I hate that fans are begging for her to wait longer now to release LG7 so DWAS can "become a hit" It already has a great standing and with the GP and Bruno fans alone it'll be ok. Not like y'all are streaming that song 100% of the time anyway, what exactly are y'all listening to between DWAS streams that can't be swapped out for LG7 

 

 

I'm fully aware Interscope would not let Gaga release something that couldn't sell, but I'm curious as to how much the additional revenue coming in from DWAS/potential Joker music will allow her to release something a little bit more experimental/creative than she would release in an album-only year.
