As fun as it would be to see Gaga in these types of promotional activities, Gaga has never been the kind of girl to do something like Hot Ones or a Lie Detector Test thing... Why do fans ignore 15 years of her interviewing/promo habits and think things will suddenly change? Plus, these kinda of promo slots would fit Joker more than any album.

I can see her doing Hot Ones for Joker 2 promo but some of these other promo opportunities seem unrealistic for Gaga. I mean ASMR?

What do they mean by "prior to Joanne", like Joanne had amazing promo especially with the Superbowl.

I know we rag on Gaga's team a lot (and they've deserved it many times) but at least they're not Dua's team. There have been many instances of her new album being put on display by distributors well ahead of its scheduled release.

I can live without most of the recommendations in that tweet (especially Hot Ones lol), but I have to admit it would be fun to see her to an AD tour.

It's crazy too cause her first two eras were so well managed, and then this era has been a lesson to everyone on how not to roll out an album.  At least Gaga's team are consistent.

but the hot ones is really popular and a lot of actors have been guests, viola davis, mark ruffalo, jeniffer lawrence, sterling k brown, cate blanchett, I feel it could do her good to be seen in a casual interview like that, instead of just usual serious ones. And the host of the hot ones is very thorough with his research I think he would ask her a lot of good questions

Joanne was the last era where she had a full album campaign. The person who made that post has no clue what they are talking about. 
 

I could see her going on Hot Ones to promote JFAD. Album promotions are dead. Look at Beyoncé, Ariana and Taylor's most recent eras, none of them are doing traditional promo. It is probably very likely that Gaga will not do traditional promotion for LG7. She'll post the pre-sale link at the end of May and drop the whole album at the end of June

I think it has to do with the following liddo logic:

If something by Gaga flops/underperforms it could only be because it didn't have enough promotion.

Joanne flopped/underperformed.

Therefore, Joanne didn't have enough promotion.

St. Vincent's new album is phenomenal. Also, I just recently heard Kate Bush's "The Sensual World" and I was utterly blown away.

I know Gaga has it in herself to make a masterpiece of a record; I really hope all this time she's taken out of of the limelight has been put to good use, and her recent statements about being inspired and writing the best music she can remember are truthful and not just PR bull to appease her fans. She has so much talent and potential in music, not just in acting, ugh.

Yeah, Hot Ones would actually be fun and make some sense, but a lot of the rest....

I'd love that too, but I don't think she would go so "alt" with her music, and honestly, that's fine. I really want her to do a great pop record with interesting production choices (like she has in the past) while also being well-thought-out and cohesive. I would love some left-field deep cuts. If we get an entire album of formulaic songs made for the top 40 like most of Chromatica, after all this time, I'll be very disappointed.
