Too easy and hyporcritical making those tweets now, people needed to support her back then if they wanted her to remain in that line and let's not as if with 'Chromatica' that was a return to her roots she was heavily supported when there's still a part of this fanbase trashing that project as well. That is why I always say that she can't never win or please anybody, aside from some minor things when it comes to the big picture she did the right choices. She did the right thing with the rebrand and at the right moment, it was basically a showcase of her multiple talents in order to prove herself as real talented musician and now even actress, being only the 'weird' popstar was too limitative for her as artist anyway.
