March 8, 20242 yr comment_25439260 I steamed Joanne on the way to work and finished after work on my way home. What a classic. I streamed it in shuffle and everything still felt cohesive. The last song it played was Just Another Day and as I was listening to it I was like this would have been a good album closer not knowing it actually was the closer! (It’s been like 2 years since I’ve streamed Joanne nnn) I know this has been discussed before but I feel like John Wayne could have been a great lead single, I feel like if it was released today with a radio push it would have done really well. Also Joanne winning a Grammy says a lot about the album tracks in general, they’re all really good. I think Grigio Girls is like my least favorite only because it’s just not my vibe it bores me but the song is still great it has this timeless feel much like many of the tracks.
