They are rumors, but Gaga popping up like this last night looking like a disco rock artist is too much of a coincidence for me to ignore. Going from being silent and hidden to five outfit changes in one day, signing autographs for fans, and leaving a studio is just... I am being cautiously optimistic.

He just did the mixing for a majority of the Joanne tracks. 
 

It would make sense if he was mixing and Gaga was just stopping by to see how it was going

Why would we have TCB first when we know she can’t release it?

I've always wanted a rock album by Gaga, but before that she needs to release a proper pop era, last time we had that was in 2011.

 

LG7 needs to be pop.

Exactly this. She’s got plenty of time to release rock’ish sounds and more hac music in the future.

Technically 2016-2017. Joanne did get a proper era, it just didn't really hit with the public until the Superbowl. 

 

And we're really never getting anything like BTW ever again. We were lucky to get 3 music videos for Chromatica.

 

But LG7 does need proper legs, even if they coincide with Joker 2 idc.

Joanne is a good album but it could have been so much better had she pushed herself further. The sequencing of the album is also all over the place.

Agreed, Joanne is good and underrated but the sequencing held it back. The album becomes boring after MR for people who don't traditionally listen to Folk/Americana music (even though I personally appreciate gems like Sinners Prayer, Hey Girl and Angel Down). It would have been great if she added 2-3 John Wayne/DIC-style songs toward the latter half of the album.

 

I don't know if this counts as part of the mixing, but I also wish the album was generally louder. It feels a bit subdued in some instances.

mix engineers are usually involved towards the end of a record...

It's Andrew Watt, not Andrew Wyatt. Both writers/producers with similar names who have worked with Gaga, but I think we've only heard of Watt being involved in new music for now.
