The meltdowns plsss. I dont even think that Tay/Benito collab is real because several artists can be at Electric Lady at the same time.

 

I really don't like the "she's above collabs with fresh and young faces" mentality in here. No one is begging her to do droplets with flavors of the month, but some collabs with current artists who stan her would be cute. Especially if it can work out sonically. This isn't the Joni Mitchell base and Godga can still do collabs with THEE legends of the industry as well and her catalog is already rich af. Some of her peers wish they could get this opportunity.

ATRL has become too obsessed with collabs. Collabs used to be special, but the rap game has infected the pop space with this idea that artists need to always be working on songs together. Before it was a special occasion for two big artists to work together, but now its like a prerequisite.

Bad Bunny is a HUGE liddo; I wouldn't even see the collab as 'jumping on trends for a quick lil singel', it'd be more of a family reunion

I don't see how that's a bad thing though. Collaborations between artists from different genres have ben a thing for ages. Like..I'd get the posts here if we were asking for a Central Cee collab or some ****.

Personally speaking, I genuinely like many of his bops. His productions are actually interesting and he's quite different from your typical latin bops boi. On top of all of this, he is quite literally one of the biggest and most vocal liddos in the industry right now. Who else is going out and about in the Rain On Me yellow rain boots? Saying Chromatica makes them happy? Wearing JOANNE merch casually?

Obviously, the fact that he's a streaming monster helps as well. But the collab isn't even a guaranteed smash. He has flop collabs too. I just think it would be interesting to hear her voice on that kind of beat.

This is what will almost basically happen as LG7 is scheduled for February 2024

The only collabs we need on LG7 are Cupcakke and Rebecca Black.

it is telling that back in that era chroma came out post her winning an Oscar nad having a major career re-peak she went back to electro-pop and they put Ariana and blackpink on it. We aren't ageist, but sadly the industry is. Back in 2017-19  the though Bey could release a dance-pop solo #1 would've just been unheard of, so things are getting better too. The streaming era is big part of ATRL losing popularity coming off 2010-2013 - it was all about being 'cool'.

 

@jesus del rey  There a reason bad bunny  is smashing and its not due to having the demographic that like Gaga talking about his next release, ofcourse the only swiftie hybrid in this base listens to bad bunny... it reminds of the twitter user that stans HARRY TAYLOR BAD BUNNY and... Messi
