I wish she would have kept-released the Cher duet, it was cute.

I wonder what they are planning though. Will the film be just a gift for the fans?

Because I don't really see it making any noise without something else to back it up (new single, music video...), it's been so damn long.

A Taylor x Gaga collab does not sound like something that would make sense, but at the same time I would have said the same thing about a Tony Bennett x Gaga collab in 2011. Them being so different could make for something interesting.

Never cared for Bowie, Prince, Grace Jones, Boy George, any 80s/90s hags threatened by Godga. She's far more talented than them.

 

Madonna is thriving today because she changed her tune and eventually gave Godga her flowers.

I don't understand why people are comparing Tony and Ari with Taylor Swift. Ari and Tony's music are different from Gaga's but they're both on par with her talent. Gaga and Tony are both New York Italians who sing Jazz music. Gaga and Ari are both millennial Italians who can sing their ass off. A Gaga x Taylor collab wouldn't work and it would only come across as a quick cash grab. I don't mind Taylor but her and Gaga are just too different.

Yeah they're legit my two mothers but I agree. I can't imagine how a TayGa song would sound like. Would it be a dance-pop bop? A slow folklore-ish ballad? Or maybe a country-pop anthem? even then, they have very different singing/writing styles. That's why Lana/Tay actually worked because they're different but also had some similarities. I obviously wouldn't oppose it but it's just gay fever dream'd.

 

Gaga/Ariana actually made sense as a collab. I've always thought she was the one pop girl other than Bey that would fit a Gaga song. Ariana's music might be a little different but she also made gay bops at some point, they shared lots of fans, and both sing their asses off as you said.
