She’ll probably be in the supporting races when she gets older. 

I doubt anyone would approach her for a supporting role, that's the thing. I'm sure Gaga would do it if it's right, but I doubt any studio would want to relegate her to supporting when they'll get way more attention giving her a leading role.

They'll both be leads, no question about that. Although I wouldn't rule out Joker having a bit more screen time than Harley. At the end of the day, it's his movie.

The title says itself, it's a two lead movie. They wouldn't have made a teaser like that one if Gaga was supporting.

At the end of the day, Gaga playing Harley is the big selling point for the movie, she is actively pursuing BA over any other award, and it would be a bigger win than anything below-the-line. Gaga in BA will probably be WB's biggest individual push for that season. 

 

If there's original music for J:FaD, it's because they needed it for the story. No studio would care about needing a surefire BOS winner when there's obvious opportunities for something bigger with the same person.

1 minute cameo, this and Sin City don't really count.

Supporting roles are actually really great to dive deep into a character who you have to completely ace due to the role being smaller. JFAD is obviously a lead role though so that's 100% out of the question here - I do see Gaga taking on a challenging supporting role soon though as it will give her a chance to be the character and not 'Gaga' (a common complaint of her detractors).

Technically, but it straddles the line between supporting and cameo (Sin City 2 and Muppets Most Wanted were cameos, no doubt). She did get into Worst Supporting Actress at the Razzies, though their definition of supporting doesn’t hold much weight given that they’re a humorous award. Then again, there’s been a few nominees at the Oscars in supporting categories that were in their film for literally a few minutes.

 

Really curious to see what her campaign approach will be for JFAD, if she's gonna keep a low profile after what happened last year or if she's unbothered about it  and she's going to have the same of HOG.
