What stresses me out more is the perryfication of Lady Gaga. One more viral song from decades ago, and the good sis 'reasons' joins ROM in her -OUT fantasy fad moment. Then i doubt HMH is staying top 10. Maybe she has gone full legacy. Oh well.

Last year was a mess, but i still say large part of it was her campaigning for a role in a film most of academy didn't take serious (many screenings saw people call it a globes only movie) + with Penelope's support unaccounted for, as she won two trifectas. Still though all those precursors and she misses? Penelope and gaga both made history in their own way.

Honestly I've been kind of over BM since the Holidays, I'm glad we experienced this with an old song of her and she deserved a resurgence of her old catalogue with younger audience discovering it and BM will clearly continue to have great updates-legs, but I think the song has peaked, I don't have further expectations for it at this point.

 

I need her to release a droplet this year.

Because it's her biggest single in the past ten years. Relatable lyrics, raw powerful vocals, it's a rock song that isn't too "in your face" rock and doesn't deviate itself from being a pop ballad either which is why the GP love it. If LG7 is going to be a ballad album she needs to work with Mark Ronson again and make ballads like Shallow, Always Remember Us This Way, I'll Never Love Again and yes even Million Reasons. As long as the album is free of stinkers like Hold My Hand.

Gaga "took notes" from her fans and released the dance album y'all have been whining about wanting for a decade only for y'all to whine some more because it somehow wasn't what you wanted. if gaga were to ever release something like what miley did, the meltdowns over it "not being a bop" would run on for years.

thank god she's spending her time solidifying her legacy as an all-around entertainer who will remain busy for the rest of her career.

Objectively her biggest successes in the past half a decade were all ballads and all are standing the test of time. HMH is a dip in quality, i woudlnt write it off yet. I certainly love her ballads which show a totally different side to her - they're not boring, just as much as i still listen to ROM/PF everyday. 

 

She should work Mark again and couple other pop producers to come out with an eclectic timeless album full of upempo, ballad, and a collab

People here are praising flowers because it’s done 15 mil on Spotify. That’s it. No one was saying they want Gaga to release something similar the first 2 days of release. 
 

Do they not realize that Miley has flopped for her past 3-4 eras? Everyone has their time to shine and it’s Miley’s turn now.

It was always like a core group of us that became friends and we witnessed this mess live! We were having a meltdown in the chat because she couldn't reveal much about artpop and it was so awkward like you can tell this was a paid event  But man it was still a fun time. We were all so excited for ARTPOP. I kinda miss the messy meltdowns during 2012 to 2013. She looked so pretty though! I loved her brunette style from Fall 2012 to March 2013.
