Probably not a good early indicator (even though I think the new callouts that are published are kinda bullshit, and most stations are no longer using them, in favor of more populist metrics like Shazam and Spotify charts)

Tbh no one really cares about callouts anymore. They no longer kill songs or make them smash like they used to years ago. Anti-Hero is a radio smash and it just went Top 20 there recently iirc.

Stupid Noise would've been a good song if it had an actual chorus, all that build up for an anticlimactic instrumental chorus

Exactly, seems like *most* stations dropped callouts sometime around the middle of last year. Probably the reason why so many pop girls are doing well there again (Bebe, Meghan, Taylor, etc.). So good news for BM lol

I agree, or at least a post-chorus after the second and/or third chorus would've immediately elevated it.

I never thought the call-outs were fair seems like something happened behind the scenes. women were extremely penalised

Stupid Love is a great song. Maybe the more rockish production of the live sessions would have suited the record version more.

I mean I'm not a lyricist/song writer so whatever i suggest may not be good  but Gar has written amazing choruses in the past, so why wasn't she able to do the same for Stupid Bomb?

If Stupid Love was an album track and Alice was the lead single that flopped, you all would have been complaining about SL not being the lead single. It’s a great song. 
Someone made a really great point the other day about SL, it sounds more like a Bloodpop song that shows off the instrumental instead of a Gaga song. It is similar to his song Friends featuring Justin Bieber. 

SL was jarring for some Gaga fans because Gaga is known for her catchy choruses, so a song with an instrumental chorus turned them off. Regardless, it is a great song even though it does not sound like a typical great Gaga song. If that makes sense

There’s no space for a chorus in SL. The chipmunk sounds should be removed and there ya have it. 
 

Either way it’s a good song, harmless banger with house influences. It’s not that serious. Only liddos hate it.

The callouts bullsh-t again  They’re refused every single Gaga song since The Fame era, its clearly bias among listeners about her voice not fitting at all.
