So i guess with the pop trend, it was a matter of time it would be discovered and people enjoy it the way they did in 2011/12. I think with Joanne, it's best bet would be another smash ballad that sticks like when ASIB smashed, or when Adele released MR got the biggest boost - HMH really clashed with Spotify otherwise it would've helped.
