Anyways what's good with Broadway? I don't think she'll do it because it's lowkey beneath her. They can't afford her there, no show will be comparable to a tour or film deal.

If she didn't care so much about artistic integrity and her legacy, she could've continued churning out catchy, generic pop hits for many years, but she was thinking about the long run. She definetly is one of the GOATs.

This is something that a good chunk of her own fans will never be able to wrap their heads around but I agree, she's thought about her career very strategically and and now it is slowly moving towards a place where she's unanimously seen as a multi-faceted, "show business" legend. All the risks she continues to take will 100% reap rewards in the future.

For starters, she can keep up releasing new exciting and intriguing music? And actually focus on making the future albums into memorable eras.

From a commercial sense, she never needs to do Broadway, but it would be a big deal for her career overall. Similar to how she's very intentionally handled her music career, it doesn't seem like she just wants to be a big movie star. It feels like she wants to be seen as one of the "great" actors too. Doing acclaimed stage work, especially a potential Tony nom/win, would really help her build the cache of a "thespian", which is huge long-term.

 

Julia Roberts for instance. She's one of the most bankable names ever in Hollywood, but she doesn't get very good projects anymore. Partly because she's made many lightweight moves with her career. Versus say Meryl Streep ot Kate Winslet, who still have their pick of roles largely because of the reputation they've built as actors. If Gaga's able to prove herself as a consistently bankable name AND an extremely respected, well-rounded actor, she'll be able to handpick projects for most if not all of her career.

I’m from France whilst they love Gaga she’s going to have 3 solo songs go diamond and ROM had Ariana on it and it spent 11 weeks top 100. As a Frenchie they absolutely have preference for her ballads lately

only her old dance hits are used here: Poker Face / Paparazzi / Bad Romance / Shallow / Always / I’ll Never Love Again and Hold My Hand

Not only has everything in her career since 2014 been measured with acclaim and PR at the forefront, she has grown and matured as an artist and a woman. Personally I have as a fan, but a lot of her base hate these projects that became her main vehicle 9 years ago, with the demographic appeal and switch, it’s understandable- to go for one you lose another.
