I think the main goal with Abracadabra is to get her casual fans back, or stans who checked out after half decade breaks between albums and all the non pop stuff. It's the type of song that sells an album even if it doesn't become a big chart hit, it's letting everyone know she's still that ***** and has a new record about to drop.

Do we think this has a chance of being stable? I haven't seen this much buzz about Gaga from the GP since The Fame Monster days.

A lot of people reached out to me (since they know I'm a huge fan) to tell me how much they love the song, and I even saw people watching the video on the bus this morning.

 

Maybe it's truly the perfect time to achieve a solo hit and make the OGHs shut up.

 

 

She should definitely release an Abracadabra album with: radio edit (shorter intro to radios), acapella, instrumental, and please lord AN EXTENDED VERSION I SHOULD CUT ONE OF MY ARM for that

Honestly if she can't score a hit with this song, we might as well accept her days of getting solo smashas with dance bops are over 

The way Abracadabra breathed new life into the Mayhem era  I was getting worried about how the album would be received after such the long gap between Disease and the album release, but Abra has gotten all the Little Monsters back in force. I hope the song is a hit but even if it's not, it's doing its job in getting fans excited about the album, which will at least help with album and tour sales.

I truly want to encourage you all guys to not get cocky just yet. Lets give the song a few days of streaming until You start 

doing the messy threads and having your fun. Please don't set her up. Keep streaming and enjoy the good news

I think a big reason this song might connect more with people is because it's SO Gaga (the chorus lyrics being gibberish is the most commented thing from every reaction I have seen, and they're like "yup, that's Gaga"), and while Disease was also very Gaga it's the more recent overbearing yellingGa that non-fans dislike. Her output after ARTPOP, while good, was pretty non-unique... anyone could've sung Million Reasons, Rain On Me etc.

 

This is the most Gaga song she's released since TFM, and her best visuals since at least Judas. If we do get a performance on SNL in 10 days there's a good chance the song could become a cute top 10 hit.

Disease was too abrasive vocally and production wise (my bf stans her but could only listen to it once lol). Abracadabra on the other side is a lot more listenable and palatable 

MAYHEM already sounds like AOTY. Disease -> ABACADABRA -> DWAS SO GOOOOD
