Gaga could be getting 1 stream daily and it would still be of higher quality than all your has-been faves (Beyonce excluded, not a has-been), and her talent would still be enormous. So, since it says October for the lead single, it cannot mean DWAS. Let's not be fools, Disease is the lead (and much better song) that underperformed. Her adding DWAS to MAYHEM after saying that it's a standalone single is completely understandable though considering the success it got.

Now now, I love the good sis Madonna and everything but she's been THEE relevance chaser the past couple decades. She has literally collaborated with every newer artist during their peaks, JT, Nicki, Maluma, The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, Sam Smith, Beyonce and Britney.

So far i've only listened to the Sabrina collab, School, Danceteria and I think I Feel So Free so my opinion is not too educated but they're all very cool songs, especially the solo ones as the Sabrina collab is a tier below the rest. If the rest of the album is as good then yes, she's really cool again.

Notice how all those tweets trash her for not handling the release correctly. The song and the video themselves are fine and a big step in the right direction (moreso the song). Those are just leftover toxic success stans that need to leave her alone already.

Gurl it's actually never about the music. It has always been about the charts. Otherwise Katy would have never been considered a winner considering even Applause >>> Roar in terms of quality. Monsters got brave when Abracadabra was pulling millions upon millions of streams daily. Meanwhile katycats get brave whenever an ancient Katy song goes semiviral or a random track goes from pulling 10k streams to 15k.

Tell that to all them katycats (all 5 of them) posting non-stop how it's Katymania, how Katy surpassed Gaga in streams etc the past few weeks all because a couple of her songs went viral for a bit. They NEVER learn that their fave is over in terms of current music. She has an amazing catalog so she'll always be somewhat relevant and can probably keep touring for decades. Take that win and stop comparing her with acts that can actually chart their music for more than a week or two.
