Was cleaning off my computer and came across a few extra Kesha gifs I made. I updated the gif post on the first page with more gifs and replaced Imgur gifs with a different image host so all Animals in every country can see them.

Enjoy.

  • meeting her in 2 hours y'all   can’t believe this day has finally come. I’ve been a fan for half of my f*cking life (I’m 26) and she’s inspired me so endlessly in so many aspects of my life.

Listening to Too Far Gone on my Discman following the lyrics in the fold out booklet had me tearing up today.

i'm listening to period for the first time in 3-4 months and THE ONE. is such a smash jonny5

she deserved so much more with this era. people say they want pop music to be more fun and sound more like the hits from their childhood in the early 2010s, so she does that but they either don't even know or don't even bother to check it out. i trust several songs will get their flowers one day

OOP! soda

im trying to make some artwork for a jewel case CD for a couple unreleased collection volumes for the lossless leaks but my problem with using PERIOD (album rather than the era as a whole) photography is that the photos are either really small and LQ or really big and grainy as hell. if i despeckle and use a dust and scratches filter it reduces the sharpness in the details (like the bra chains, lace, etc)

she looks like the person she used to be and it's so heartwarming. she's performing like that too.

i don't know how to word it, because i know that the sentiment is harmful. i'm not saying we need her to be thin or some beauty and popstar standard. i love every version of Kesha. but i guess just as a fan it's more like seeing her go back to her roots? she got her light back. idk why exactly but the period release seemed a bit tumultuous, but she seems so confident and happy again now.

tbh reducing the lip filler probably made a huge change rip

Listening to the full CD for the first time in several months and the exact reason I always delete or rank Love Forever next to dead last is the fuckass chorus. The verses are melodically amazingly but then that jarring monotone FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER is annoying and really ugly.

I also have been thinking about writing down general questions and moments in my life relating to Kesha and her music kinda as a timeline of how I felt during certain moments (the day we --i was on FOTPforums at the time-- discovered You Control My Heart on a random ass website hiding the link to it in a vase, the day we saw Kesha lost her injunction, Lover's release and removal, true colors at coachella, the day i got my first copy of Warrior on CD, etc)

no :( it was just some sessions for her debut album that scrapped. i think it leaked either last or that previous year.

ugh i wish she recorded this

just found out that Hungover was the final song completed for the album

but like this is so weird. how fast was CD production in 2009 for the song to be worked on in November 30th 2009 for a January 4th worldwide release?

I think 2-3 weeks prior for CD's was correct - I also remember Gaga doing a similar thing back for Born This Way, she had less than a month to go and was still recording. Vinyl records are the ones that take longest because of the lack of vinyl plants.

I just find it really crazy that they're able to press millions of CDs worldwide back then when now it feels like they're taking months to press any amount lol

CD's don't take months to press, it's vinyls that do. Since vinyl sales have overtaken CD sales and for charting purposes, record labels need all physical media to come out at the same time. It's annoying, but I get why it's in their best interest.
