id rather not have my eyes assaulted by the brightness of the white, plus Cher is a legend so im okay with keeping dark mode.

I can't take her TikTok choreo seriously  she is too much of a great performer to be doing middle school dance moves

we also have to remember that

• she was in her 20s when she debuted, she probably (and very naturally) might not have that exact same energy, especially after enduring abuse for 20 years, performing was really one of her only escapes so early in her career. her audience was her fuel to keep going. youll eventually kinda burn out before too long.
• all of her previous tours have been under luke, and she likely didnt have anything big planned yet for an independence tour. since the Only Love Tour was first planned as the Gag Order Tour, it probably didnt change much if at all when she made the switch after th settlement. it was also recent enough to still be in her memory that she could just be re-using that tour's choreo (i didnt see TOLT but i saw the July 3rd show).
• shes probably in the middle of planning a higher energy concepts now for when she tours for her next album.

i hope we get Animal-era high energy Kesha back too, but only time can tell  

 

13 years ago I went to my first pop concert to see Kesha. It was amazing! 

 

LMFAO was just okay. Funny how they blew up after that.

Im someone who endured a mental breakdown-big anxiety spikes years ago and honestly it really damaged my body. My Body control is not the same as i was younger
When i move too fast or too much my anxiety gets higher and higher. The blood pressure raises and is something exhaustin or very stressful for me
This is one of the reasons why i get the Kesha,Britney situation. Mental health can also be a big wall for your body.  Kesha has also that autoinmune disorder

I miss energy a bit too but she's still serving fun performances, so im pleased

 

 

Joyride is soo good. I need her album to be full of tracks like Joyride

10/16 isn't so bad, I guess. Tonight, MOD and the Potato Song are messy, but that's why I kinda love them. Now looking at the songs I cut, Shadow is alright but would have fit better on Rainbow (and we already have the superior Bastards), LBOT sounds like a Panic At The Disco song past their peak, BFF is corny as hell and Chasing Thunder and Summer aren't exactly the type of country I want her to explore. FDD could have been a great song given the subject, but I didn't like the end result, and the vocals are unpleasant on that final chorus

i listen to the full thing including BBW almost weekly

The Born This Way vs. Warrior thread really made me think of how great Warrior is.

 

I truly believe it's a better effort than whatever her peers were making at the time, even though I don't expect big Gaga/Katy/Rihanna/Britney/Xtina fans to admit it.

 

I enjoy listening to that album from front to back so, so much. And it's no surprise for me that the music critics praised the album in a pre-Poptimism time.

Omg I hope you got the Japanese Edition with the golden (Die Young) cover and the second CD with the Deconstructed EP.

I almost bought it myself but I went with the default Deluxe. Still kinda mad I ordered the European one and got the Australian one instead... with that fugly tag in the top left of the cover.

Also imagine thinking Warrior is generic... with so many different palettes and diverse tracks outside the singles. It could have easily been a longer era with 6 single releases.

 

The other album it was compared to didn't have much to offer outside the singles.
