The best song off of 143 easily and one of the few reasons to be thankful for that album, truly.

Guys I just realized we should get Watch It Burn in the next four weeks or so; ie everyone ready? It's supposedly really good pop rock from Katy, and tbh bandaids was amazing even though it kinda underperformed. I could stil see it being a deluxe track or something on KP7.

It would be a first for her that I'm aware of to have three songs in the Spotify top 200 (TOTGA/LFN/WIB).

3rd: NIRVANA/WONDER

I agree. I feel like the era was doomed the moment it was revealed she was going to work with Dr. Luke, but I think "ALL THE LOVE" would have still been her best bet for a lead single.

Second: "I'M HIS, HE'S MINE"

Third (released for the holidays): "NO TEARS FOR NEW YEAR'S"

People always forgive controversies when the music is good. Just look at Ariana. She just made the wrong calls, none of the 3 singles were single worthy.

Imagine if she released her albums in different order:

2017: 143

A more softer transition from Prism to the same type of fun music she did prior, Album produced by Max Martin instead. She has all of the 2017 breakout artists on it like Dua on Gorgeous and Cardi on IHHM, this was also 21's breakout/debut year as-well.

2020: Witness

Imagine if this was marketed as a "Lockdown album" and the Witness livestream was her in lockdown writing and working with the producers virtually, we watch her in her craft and see the album being made from start to finish and the album is released released at the end of lockdown with Chained to the Rhythm as the first single. With all the conspiracy theories at that time this song would of been a Guaranteed #1 and song of the year. The album probably would of been nominated for a grammy with the new outlook of it being a covid/lockdown inspired album. Once again the collabs are with breakout artists of the year, Doja on Bon Appetit and Megan thee Stallion on Swish Swish.

2024: Smile

TikTok has gotten so much bigger since it's original release so the singles from this album of definitely would of benefitted from being released during this era and not being overshadowed by her pregnancy and covid. A different photoshoot and visuals. Album pre-order with first single and released within 2 months of the first single.

My favorite album to listen to while on meth is Prism by Katy Perry. Just in case you were wondering.

I have been listening to gorgeous so much recently and realized how good it really is, it has become my most listened song from 143. Wish they spent some money on this and had a bigger name on it Ariana/Doja/Dua/Sabrina/Miley/Tate and made it a single instead of IHHM. Then again i don't if anyone would of agreed because of the producer....

She did great. She needs to stop writing songs this high though.
