Excited if her next album is pop, When Love Hurts is a masterpiece.

 

Not That Kinda Girl remains her best song though.

Not sure if she's going pop or dance pop. She does have some collaborations as well with Jordan Fisher ("Feel Love"), THEY. ("Would You Go?"), Amorphous, and ZEDD.

I remember a tweet of her leaked demo where she was blowing notes left and right and said she would be doing better than that and I was shocked because it was like phrased G5's left and right.

I haven't really kept up with her music since Mad Love tbh but I'd love a new era, i'd definitely keep up with it

I was a huge fan of JoJo for years, but her recent albums have just not been good for me. I wish she'd go back to her old pop sound because it was perfect. Her first two albums are still amazing.

I wish that were true  However her voice is nowhere near as good as those "baby vocals". You can tell she's been a smoker for years because it aged her voice badly, as you can hear in her re-recordings.

So excited for this new album, I know she kept us fed through out the pandemic but it feels like forever since we've had new material. Maybe I have just played TF out of good to know and trying not to think about it. UGH her whole discography

She came out and said she had bronchitis the whole time throughout those re-recordings and you could definitely hear it.

 

 

 

So excited for new music, cant stop listening to LoveJo at the moment.  

I hope when she says pop, she really means good pop inspired by a previous decade a la What’s Your Pleasure.

Trying Not to Think About It has been my favorite project from her so far, so I’m excited to see what’s next. She has a habit of (for me) always one-upping herself after each project. 

 

I do think she’s going pop because she feels like women in R&B aren’t recognized as much… that and I think she really wanted Grammy recognition for her R&B work. She’s alluded to it in some tweets/likes… though she’s even less likely to be nominated for anything in pop.

I wonder how someone (her label) lets go of a song like Synthetic... That's a classic right there. I can't believe it's just a leaked song...

Anyway, I love all her projects. trying not to think about it is her best so far. I hope she doesn't do generic pop... R&B is where she shines.

Sorry, but Mad Love has some super generic moments like I Can Only, F Apologies, FAB, Vibe... But that's just my personal taste. Best songs on that album were Like This, Music, Reckless, Clovers & the best of them all, Edibles...
