I kinda agree. I feel like tinashe would ATE that. This song is more her vibe. I can't take jojo rapping seriously. Something about a 30 year old white woman rapping about sex is upsetting my ancestor

We Need more leaks from her

Feel like she's out for blood this time around. I want sassy JoJo back, none of that humility BS.

Good to know is still the album that gets me through heartbreak. I love this album so much. Very much needed as i go through this phase of being ghosted by a guy i thought would be mine.

Love you jojo!!!!

Okay Team JoJo, time to liven up this thread a little and if possible change the thread title to "JoJo". We're getting a book, she teased a new song, the remaining months of the year should be exciting.

Listening to audiobook and can't stop listening. Is the difficult "manager" in the book Gita? It's not Katie who she mentions separately.

So, it's confirmed: she's off Warner Music, and is officially releasing music on Clover via BMG! "Porcelain" is the first fully indie release for her!

There's a mystery from 2010 that I can't find answers for online.

Back in 2010 someone here on ATRL shared a tracklist that included the tracks In The Dark, I Got My License, Sweat, Play This Twice, Safe With Me, Up Against the Wall, Touchdown, When Does It Go Away from what I remember.

I recently discovered that I Got My License is a real track that does exist and like 2 years ago had a part of it surface online and apparently UATW is also real but still in the vault which leads me to believe this tracklist was the real deal.

So this leads me to one more track that stood out for me on the tracklist: Toxicity. I can't find any information that proves this track is real but it was on that tracklist.

There's evidence UATW is real and apparently was considered to be the lead which makes this the only track that I can't piece together at all into the puzzle.

Thought this tracklist was fake but the revelation of IGML really shocked me.

Indeed a mystery. All I can find was this popjustice forum thread from March 2009. Apparently UATW was produced by Danja...but was she even working with Danja in 2008-2009? This means she met him right as she turned 18, not sure if that jives with the memoir timeline. https://forum.popjustice.com/threads/jojo-all-i-want-is-everything.12300/

i know she said she was working on it or possibly re-recording it for this purpose; maybe it'll actually happen now that she's independent

I hope she rerecords it with a good voice. Ik she said she was sick for JoJo and The High Road and sometimes its hard to listen to them even though I want to support her cause I can hear the sickness or whatever throat thingy she had that made her sound nasally and kinda thicker. The best rerecording was the Weak cover for  some reason.

oh really? i love the 2018 versions and honestly can't listen to the 2004/2006 mixes anymore … mostly because i feel like she sounds like such a child vs. a woman

I think bc it sounds like they mixed the vocals, but they also mixed the instrumental because there's an echo clap/reverb you can def hear in too little too late and a like delay in the sound that bothers me for some reason??? The high notes are great though. Leave Get Out I consider a bit better than TLTL. Like That is my fave rerecording that isnt Weak. I think Disaster whooped her vocals. I think it was confusing beacuse for her Droplet era around that time she sounded incredible.

Ummm... i think she attended the Bezos wedding. I am really disappointed in her, i've been a fan for 20 years.

Her Wikipedia page is the most comprehensive list I've found: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_recorded_by_JoJo

Death to Barry Hankerson

It's such a bummer to even think about because Jumping Trains was such a good album. Legally, I can't release it because I recorded it under the contract with Blackground.

The album was going to be a great bridge from the child that I started as into the young woman I was becoming. It was like a fork in the road, that's what Jumping Trains was. It was me exploring whether I wanted to have a more traditional life with this boyfriend that I was with. He was very sweet and Southern, and I could've had the comfort of that family that I had longed for. Or I could break off on my own, and move to L.A., and be the curious young woman that I also was. That's the decision I ultimately made — to explore my curiosity and move to L.A. because I felt like I was settling a little bit in that relationship. That's what Jumping Trains was overall exploring — coming of age.

That was a real turning point for me as a writer, too. At 12, I wrote "Keep On Keepin' On," on my first album, by myself. That wasn't the first song I had written totally by myself, but it was the first one that was published. But with Jumping Trains, I was a part of every song co-writing, and that's when I really learned about collaboration in a 360 type of way, from concepts to melodies and lyrics and production and seeing it all the way through to mix.

(old 2020 interview but randomly found it and forgot it existed; it feels rare seeing her acknowledge Jumping Trains nowadays)

Joanna mass leak just hit... +40 songs and counting😩

and still nothing from Jumping Trains yet

Edited by Vixen Eyes

if anyone is curious, heres how i have the recent leaks looking like.

didnt include the 2010-2015 leaks cos we didnt get any new leaks from those years/eras

i kept the 2021 session leaks in two separate "EPs" cos i wanted to keep the release year metadata for American Mood and Creature of Habit and wanted to keep those two songs as their respective single release artworks, etc

also note that most of these placements are purely random and/or how the tracklist visually looks lol

The cancellation of this album low key is what made me unstan because Mad Love didn't move me much besides Good Thing (which apparently a lot of JoJo stans hate rip)

Felt like I got pushed out of the fanbase
