I would be surprised if she didn't harbor some bad memories of it considering how much the internet unfairly attacked her during that time. It was bizarre to see.

I actually think she likes it the most. She never really talks about WWAFA outside of saying how depressed she was and we know how she feels about DSAM 

 

It feels like she’s extra protective over the album and so naturally feels extra hurt about the forced hate train and general backlash she got during the rollout. Nothing went right during that time and that’s probably frustrating as an artist who took a risk that at the time wasn’t appreciated. I’m glad it all worked out and the album ended up being a hit but it makes sense why she has bad memories attached to it.

She was definitely not in the right space mentally in 2018 (so around DSAM era) and you can tell from her Variety yearly interview from that year, but she just mentioned in her most recent interview how 2019 was the best year in her life and she had moments after that wishing she could go back to it. Her retrospective opinions on that period are probably pretty complicated but I wouldn't say she hates it

Yeah I dont think she hates any of her work but DSAM is definitely her least favorite project. Maybe she views it that way because she was basically a kid when she worked on that so she really didn’t come into her own artistically yet? Either way she’s yet to miss but true artists are always harder on themselves
