It’s still unreal that she’s actually topped ST and Lemonade. I knew she would as she’s proved that she’s not to be doubted. But it still feels weird to not be able to call Lemonade her best album anymore.

An entire side of the industry are secretely always pissed at Bey. Diane Warren is probably one who votes at the Grammys. After this shade about Bey, do you really think she will be fair when comes  time to vote? imagine at least 12 like her voting behind the scenes secretely seething at Bey, simply because she gives proper credits to the artists she samples. Those people are psychotic at this point. Like how are you mad at an artist giving credits? She doesn't have that many writers on the song and they know it too.

she will lose because old white men still rule the grammys. All their diversity efforts wont come into effect until 2025. Grammys are always flaunting their diversity stats but if you read the fine prints, those are only for the future invited members. That might not even make any difference tbh.

Grammys are not going to reward a woman singing about her husband biting her ***

Agh, this makes more sense. As, I do hear the Prince influence on a few tracks on this album. A Vanity 6 reference sounds more fitting.

It truly does.. for a while, I was calling Lemonade her best and definitive album. And now? I'm on the cusp of calling Renaissance that album... yet, I'm on the cusp of still holding on. It looks like I've created my own tragedy
