This is an insane run (and all owned by her). I don't think there's a person in music history who released such a crazy string of projects AND owned all of them outright. The corresponding tours + documentaries too.

Their first major interaction he spilled Hennessy on her white dress, no?  

He also has a frenemy relationship with Jay-Z where their awkward interactions always end up with him being "little-brothered" in an embarrassing manner (missed handshakes, Jay-Z ignoring him altogether).

 

For some reason I see her pulling him to the side at an event or sending a message through the ether that she likes his actual voice. Would he be flattered or offended as a pioneer of Auto-Tune? No clue.

 

He did also demo "Wake Up" before she got to it... but that's a testament as to how much her vision can polish a really rough diamond.

This is more-so what I was wondering. Does she respect his music? Is she annoyed by him? Does she even think of him? Personally I think T-Pain is a genius and has written some the best pop/R&B songs of our time. And she heard his demo and liked it enough to record the hell out of what became her Wake Up demo. I could definitely see them having a working relationship like she has/d with The Dream.

Hearing how Rosalia is incorporating classical music, it feels like such a DREAM collab at this point. Could u imagine them going head to head with the operatic singing styles?

 

it's crazy to me that 'Drunk in Love' never crossed 265k streams when the Dubai riff was going mega viral. 

giraffe should have uploaded Drunk in Love (Live at Renaissance World Tour) on her YouTube at the very least. it would've been late but at least boost her a lil.

Wasn't there a rumour a few years ago that Beyoncé wanted to work on a song with Rosalia, if I'm not mistaken this was pre-pandemic, let me Google real quick
