Why is it stupid? It's cutting edge technology! I think if you haven't tried it, you shouldn't discredit the value. Trust me, you would be shocked at how real the experience feels. The angles, the proximity, the "stage" space required for the camera allows access to things we wouldn't ordinarily ever see or be able to have. The Alicia keys one studio rehearsal is a perfect example of how breath taking this is! I would personally pay money for Beyoncé to film something like that. And I know any hive member would kill for it if they realized how special it truly is.

I think the only cities where there's too many dates is LA (4 would have sufficed), Atlanta (last date wasn't needed really), and Vegas (2nd date was not needed).

 

The others are fine. The ones listed above also will be.

I'm still so confused at what happened with the Pittsburgh RWT date. The map for the show looked sold out for months and then like three weeks before the show thousands upon thousands of unsold tickets show up.  I couldn't see how she could sell that out with that short of a turn around. The cancellation didn't surprise me.

The tickets are getting cheaper btw for anyone who wants to upgrade. The floor seats are now cheaper than what I paid for the 100s section 

Floor seats are only worth it if you're in the first 10 or so rows from the stage imo. Love the 100s

and it's stupid bc no self respecting person will pay hundreds of dollars for a virtual concert when they can just go to the real one. the whole virtual reality thing is also extremely niche, she'd make more profit by just dropping the visuals on youtube and calling it a day

Just saw someone say Beyoncé's final rehearsals start(ed) this week in State Farm Stadium in Phoenix. It seems possible logistically (agenda is cleared till May), and it is closed-roof (which was one of Bey's demands).

The packaging is fan made/bootleg, but the mixtape is real. It's mostly b-sides and outtakes from DIL that were going to be on the original sophomore album before she decided to pause and do Destiny Fulfilled.
 

But back then in 2004-5 mixtapes were word of mouth. They were usually shared online for free from the label or teams to test the market and then sold in physical copies by bootleggers. So she wasn't actively promoting it. Leak culture was kinda different back then.
