I feel the same way about self-titled. It's totally brilliant music but there's a real melancholy and sense of grief that threads the record together which makes it sort of a heavy listen? That's not a drag, just a comment on how effective the atmosphere is on those tracks.

That's like asking for CIL to not be on the set list lol 

i'm torn on wether ren songs will make the setlist or not… 

on one hand she seems to treat the acts like one big era, snuck ren poses and bits of BMS into the halftime show. on the other hand she's nasty and mean spirited enough to completely ignore ren and focus exclusively on CC 

 

the absolute bare minimum would be including cuff it and bms, maybe AS and ahap which she seemed to enjoy as well. if not, at least do some quick mashups if you must cause performing a renaissance outtake (which she obviously will) but none of the other songs would be a different kind of diabolical

 

this would also motivate people who either don't like CC or didn't get the chance to see RWT to go see a CC tour and it'll help ren stay in peoples heads a little more, à la 4

The arena residency rumours never made sense for her, she is a stadium act for a decade now who has yet to see a loss of commercial power and cultural cachet. Stadium residencies à la Coldplay are more plausible in her current situation.

Irreplaceable will 100% be on the setlist. Just like when we discussed whether she's gonna perform Blow at RWT, it fits way too perfectly to be left out.

The dates make sense based off of the kicking off in LA rumor (for the US leg), if a Chicago date is in September.

She barely wanted to keep it for Renaissance. Blue wanted it. Diva and its dance breakdown is too expected. It's been on too long on the set just like RTW and Crazy in Love but I know CIL can't ever leave
