The announcement (well at least part of it) was a tour so it's definitely going to come before March.

 

My guess is a couple days after The Grammys (Feb 2nd),where the entire show will be honouring the first responders and victims and she will probably mention praying for them in her speech, she will then announce it.

Yeah, I think next week

Payday is not until the week after for me so not ready for her dropping the ticket sale   But I'd rather get the dates as I am planning a holiday April/May and don't want to miss her (sounds like she's going to be in Europe then). 

People who don't label their concert footage with the date (or at least the city) piss me offfffffffffff

 

Got me cross-referencing with pictures trying to match hair and makeup and **** so I make sure it's filed correctly in my archive

Yeah, seems like announcing next week would be acceptable 

If the announcement is specifically for a tour or a live show, there is no reason to put a date on the announcement, just post it.
 

Though I feel like "COWBOY CARTER" reviews have remained mixed since it's release, the perfect time to announce the live shows would've been ideal after the Halftime performance. I feel like it's the most logical way to showcase what a tour could look and sound like since ppl have been so undecided on a tour. Now that the fires have pushed back the date of reveal, just unleash the new and let the chips fall where they may. 
 

I feel like she understands this and that's why she posted the performance on her personal/business YouTube page, to make it more accessible for the undecided crew. This album needs a lil extra push to show the possibility, but she not doing anything else until the supposed tour dates, so there's nothing else to lean back on. 
 

It wouldn't make sense to keep prolonging the announcement anymore if it's just a tour, but I don't know what else she'd lump into the announcement that would make sense. 

I still think it's strange she had a delayed announcement for a tour, why not just put the tour info out right after the performance, like she always has done?  Even if there were still some undecided venues, or dates, you could easily add them later, like she always does.  I feel like we are still missing a component

This is why I don't feel it's not a tour, that's something that has to be locked in and set for a while. You want the most time to sell and her just performing is the perfect ad to see her, waiting some weeks later to announce a tour kind of kills the hype. Obviously she can sell the tix with a single Instagram post but strike while the iron is hot, she of all people knows this with the previous tour announcements. 
 

The media next week is going to be oversaturated… inauguration, award show nominations, polar vortex, updates on the fires…. 
 

I still think this is a CC related doc/behind the scenes of the performance, the two weeks gave them time to edit it with footage from the performance and footage as they were getting ready and setting it all up. Closure to the album which she can probably still release closer to the Grammys.

i highkey want her to perform this one day. 

i think the announcement was meant to be CC-exclusive performance in LA that she would use to announce the tour. 

 

if she was announcing a tour she wouldn't have postponed it at all lol. 

 

Grammys weekend  will garner her much press so I think any announcement will be right  after the Grammys or right before.
