After sitting on it, Beyoncé bowl was a nice cap on the CC era and ended with a bang like others have been saying. Self titled never got a tour either. Maybe because of the name of the tour. If the tour is called "The Trilogy Tour" or sth akin to it, she'd basically indirectly confirm that Act3 would drop prior to the tour, which would result in quite the buzz. 1
Kh-Loud Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 (edited) You know even if you look at this from a business perspective, it would just be a lot more rational and profit driven to push a few more singles. If those singles end up being successful, she can sell those tickets much EASIER, which are her bread, and at a much HIGHER COST if she desires as well, but it's low key detrimental to try to predict her moves using rational sometime Edited December 29, 2024 by Kh-Loud

shark_heather Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Eh Guys the queen doesn't need any Halftime to promote a tour ... The moment she will announce she is touring , only her name will sell all the tickets The halftime was to promote the album for the Grammys and to give to the hive a Xmas gift

Lose My Breath Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Can y'all believe her career is nearing 30 years? 9

However reality is: Beyonce barely does anything and is already, more than ever, confronted with so much scrutiny and people who want to drag her and peck her down a notch to the point of downplaying or even taking away her talent and hard work. All in the name of "I dont like her". Theres a reason its unheard of for ANY popstar living or dead to having sustained such a level continous success - we might not like it, but her being so rare has prolonged her relevance insanely. Always remember: there is NO (black) artist living or dead who has sustained a CONTINUOUSLY successful career over the span of 30 (!!!!!) YEARS. Take pride in stannint one of the GOATs of the industry and dont get insecure because of some of the obscure takes online. Sure, some artists manage to have a hyped era, maybe even 2, but you don't believe yourself that anybody will care for Sabrina Carpenter at the end of this decade, do you? Lol 2 1

I think whatever is happening on the 14th won't be the album, just the new single. It took over 3 years for them to prepare for rennie tour so idk if another tour is happening right away, maybe 2026. Kalmanta Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I loved all the small things during that performance, the hair whips, nods, winks, all the dancers cramming together for a photo during Texas Hold Em, Ashley smiling throughout the whole set. Also what's up with the chemistry between Bey and Post? And the best thing about it? I can rewatch it without catching some random virus on a shady website. 6
Golden Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I wish both LEVII'S JEANS and TYRANT were shorter tbh 2

sillycilla Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 My only critique for this era is why admittedly make a passion project that you had no intention of promoting? People were already gunning for her and hoping she would fail and the lack of streaming of the album doesn't help her case especially for the Grammys. If Mariah can get a 20mill streaming viral song every year bey should have at least been strong on some of her biggest catalog songs. I think the problem is she's been absent for so long in the 2010's to now that gen z isn't really connected to her and her discography, it shows with how they've embraced Gaga, Bruno, etc. One smash hit helped Gaga reach 112 million monthly listeners. There's obviously a disconnect with Beyonce. 4 2

nuclear Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 (edited) Don't drag me, y'all, but we need to move on from "Cowboy Carter." No more singles from that album it already got the respect it deserved with the Beyoncé Bowl. It's time to move forward and focus on finishing the other acts. If the rumors about Act III being a Rock/Funk/Soul album are true, we need to speed this up! I've been patiently waiting for something like this for years. Beyoncé's voice has matured so beautifully it's grittier now, and it's absolutely perfect for that kind of sound. I've been hoping for her to deliver a classic Rock/Funk/Soul project for nearly two decades. She needs to give us that iconic, "Dirty Diana"-level masterpiece ASAP. "Cowboy Carter" did what it needed to do. Let it rest in peace, and let's move on! Edited December 29, 2024 by nuclear 9
ReneighIsHere Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 If i were her i would drop the first part of the visuals (with songs from act I and II), complete the new album and then comeback with act III and a trilogy tour (which would be so sickening). I don't know if she had enough time to make a new album.. even if a lot of cowboy carter songs were old, she was still working on it till the last minute. We don't know how long she's been working on act III... we don't know if she still plans to drop the visuals but the fact that she regretted dropping cowboy carter as act II makes me think she won't be sitting on the new music for too long this time. She will release act III faster because she doesn't want to drop "old" music
Cbreezy Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Having initially made peace with her shenanigans, Halftime has me getting retroactively p*ssed at the lack of CC singles promo all over again. I've never understood the logic of scoring 2-3 hits when you could have...more. Bodyguard? Leviis, Tyrant etc. Especially when it would help the era have legs and mean more to the masses. That said... Would y'all be here for a CC deluxe? If she's going on a CC tour (which is what looks to be the case), I really feel (from a product lifecycle standpoint) she has to give the girls an added...something promotionally speaking She's "Beyonce", so a tour would sell regardless. And I can see a world where they think Halftime is enough (which it technically is). But I've always been resolute about the fact that we should never underestimate the importance of GP excitement in gifting our girl realtime cultural currency. Put simply, there's two types of Bey tour from a buzz perspective: 1) Top Tier, Culture Shifting, Iconic: FWT, Rennie 2) Going Because It's Beyonce, Almost Out of Obligation: OTR, OTR2 I'd much rather CC was the first tier. But I legit feel there needs to be an extra umph if it's for CC. Be that the visuals, or a remixed single with a huge feature. 1

"Cowboy Carter" did what it needed to do. Let it rest in peace, and let's move on! THIS. I'm fairly easy-breezy, so will be perched at the CC tour if it's a thing. But honestly, as much as a music head as I am, the older and more seasoned I get, the more I see music/eras/artists for what they are: a product. CC's product cycle honestly feels like it has come to its natural end. Arguably prematurely due to a lack of promo. But also probably because it's just sonically left of "expected" Beyonce terrain. And that's a-ok. It's done its thing. Big opening week, #1 lead, lots of cultural dialogue, and adds another compelling chapter to a career like no other, etc. Granted Bey is a magician with the hold she has on the masses, all stanism aside, a CC tour would be beating a dead horse (no pun intended). We'll see. 3 1
