THIS should've been the standard front cover of 4. She's damn near shaped like the number and it gives plenty of room to add text. Such a great album shoot but 4 is by far her worst album cover out of all her studio albums. It also has the worst lead single too oof the absence of Mathew was EVIDENT 

 

This album cover + Countdown as the lead would've done NUMBERS

I think she chose the correct pic actually. none of the others are giving album cover.

the one on the middle was used for 1+1 promo single, the rest of the single cover art are just straight of the booklets

Apologies to Xtina for catching this stray in advance, but...

 

She sounds really dumb.  I watched an interview with her, and you could actually see the wheels turning as she was speaking.  I already know the answer, but I'm gonna put it out there anyway... Why does everyone call Bey stupid when she by all metrics shows the marks of being a highly intelligent person?  I've never seen the "Xtina is stupid" drags, and people on this site bend over backwards to act like Britney Spears is in Mensa.

I always felt like the 4 cover matches Run The World but not the album

itself. The alternate version is better imo. 
 

As much as I love the music, that era was her worst in terms of imagery and looks until Cowboy carter came around.
