I wasn't disappointed but agree that it wasn't really new for us. However I knew a lot of people that weren't fans were super impressed after seeing her perform, so it was a great platform for her to reach new audiences.

It was the most exhilarating TV moment I had experienced in a while, then she released "BOW DOWN"!

 

Now seeing the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, in its opening months, next to Revel/Live In Atlantic City is where I felt cheated. And she adds insult to injury by not only releasing Revel on DVD instead of the evolution of TMCSWT, but it was condensed down way too much. That fonky axx BEYONCÉ: X10 was triflin' ❗️

I remember being so disappointed that she did EOT instead of an epic RTW performance a la Billboard 2011. Honestly still am…

 

I also remember her make up looking…off…

 

BUT THAT WALK?!!!! Her whipping the audience with her weave?!!!!!! The entire performance she was just in GOD mode. Like when it comes to every thing that makes a great performer great, she was that, on that night

I lived for it at the time, but I always felt as though it was underwhelming and a bit disjointed. It's a performance I don't even think about. I think of her and those childish ass bangs before I think of that performance.
