I still don't understand why the Standard version of Cowboy Carter is not on sale. Not only that but it may literally NEVER come.

They will not put any weight on anything. 

They decided to release a single version yet the album version is the one on TTH. 

The cover is embarrassing to look at. 

There's a blog that makes no sense, that is not even updated at regular intervals and just adds zero to the era. 

There's an album out, it has a cover, one all official outlets are sharing, know about, one that appears on Spotify, AM and on their promotional tour buses (that serve zero purpose) but the existing physicals don't have that cover, not a single one. 1 month in. 

They don't know what they're doing.

 

I really hope we'll be surprised and II Most Wanted ends up smashing. I'm glad they've picked a single as it's better than nothing, but now we need people (starting with the Hive) to get behind it. Come on guys, let's aim for a top 5 or with any luck another #1.

True, if she's not planing to do do a video and a performance, 2MW has no chance now. It had a chance when it was pulling 5M, had it been sent to pop radio then with a visualiser, it would have done something. But now, summer is coming, Bodyguard seems more appropriate. 

Imagine knowing u want to make 2MW the next single, using music for ur insta captions, and NOT using the song u want to promote...

Interesting you mention that because if we managed to steer Parkwood away from Church Girl and Summer Rennie and to go with Cuff It, who's to say we can't do the same this time and convince them to push Bodyguard or Levii's instead?

 

I think we could if we shouted enough about it but people have just given up lol.

bc cuff it started pulling +2M easily for weeks while doing nothing with it so it basically forced them to make it the single (and even then they were too late)

 

but with the embarrassingly awful streams the album pulls now there's not much that could force them to change their mind

One insta reel had Levii's and the one after had Bodyguard. I thought maybe they were testing to choose between the two. Then the Cecred thing followed with Bodyguard once and I thought ooh so they picked the latter, fantastic...

I really dont understand how u can be so capable at launching a new era and the first song, and then being SO INCREDIBLY bad at everything that follows. I just don't get it, especially when launching takes way more skills than keeping the momentum up. Like, I know its gonna be that way with Bey/Parkwood, but I'm shook every single time when I see it unfold in real time over and over again

Or maybe they're going with both : very little push for 2MW to serve as a promo single and Bodyguard as the real single.

How can you have such a star studded collab (Beyoncé ft. Miley) with Miley's STRONG connection with Gen-Z, and NOT push it to the High Heavens and utilize it!? Lorddd someone please get Taylor Swift on the line with Bey. 
 

At least with Rennie there was some mystery. This isn't even really mystery anymore it just seems like they're dilly dallying atp. I truly feel she should only post and feed us when it's something super important and actual promo. I prefer her going ghost every 1-2 weeks than the tiny little crumbs lmao!

This is gonna be my first rant on here OMFG but :

 

Beyonce and her team are so out of touch. I'm sorry but especially with the messages and themes of Rennie and Cowboy, speaking up for minority groups and reclaiming space. This stuff NEEDS to be everywhere. For such an important message for her, they don't treat it as such when it comes to promo, and effort when it comes to everything else. If you're going to strip Visuals for 3 albums straight (literally something that makes up HALF of the album) then at least put forth a little more effort in promo or exposure. 

 

As much as I want to trust her vision, part of me also would like a music video or SOMETHING to tide over this nearly 4 year wait. It just kinda doesn't make sense.
