Kelly never blamed Bey for that Already Gone / Halo fiasco, just Ryan Tedder.

 

I don't think she has an issue with Bey. The conversation around her is just a lot and she probably doesn't want to invite comparisons and have the Hive flood her comments. I know most Hive don't really do that anymore, but that's still the general perception. 

 

 

also let's be real, Kelly cannot sing Daughter -- not the operatic vocals, at least.

Beyonce has been brought up on Kelly's show a few times and here are all the things I can recall:

 

1. Kelly had to name her favorite half time shows. She made a disclaimer to not be upset and proceeded to name all male shows, one being Bruno Mars.

2. A guest mentioned Coldplay's half time show and Kelly went "Oh right the one where Bruno came in" - No mention of Beyonce

3. There was a game where they had to guess the song or something and the 2 or 3 times a Beyonce song came on she didn't answer.

 

IDC call me weird or grasping for straws but as a SANGER I would think she would have more respect for a fellow SANGER. She doesn't have to be fan of her music but she gives off a weird energy when Beyonce is mentioned. A thread in base a few weeks ago asked which pop singers are secretly republican and I was surprised by the amount of people mentioning Kelly.

 

Lastly she did do Survivor by Destiny's Child and it was horrible but of course the yt soccer moms in the comments say otherwise. 

Oh and Kelly definitely is one of the grammy voters that refuses to vote for Beyonce due to song writing credits. Kelly is a people pleaser and doesn't like that Beyonce takes a stand and demands credit for the changes she makes for songs written for her. Kelly herself changed 1 word in a song Avril Lavigne wrote for her but didn't take song writing credit and is proud to mention it all the time.

Whew and I'm glad someone else brought this topic up cause the other week I saw twitter comparing Kelly Clarkson to mainstream singers and the conclusion was that she's the best female vocalist today. Of course some hive stung back and people were acting like Kelly could sing circles around Beyonce. Whew that pissed me off. The ONE thing I'll give Kelly over Beyonce is that she can BELT. Beyonce for some reason refuses to give us a really good classic diva BELT in her music. I truly think that's where the "she's not that great" stories come from. She needs an "AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" moment or a "Don't wanna live by myself ANYMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE" moment. The geepee doesn't care about vocal runs, stacks, or changing keys on Love on Top they describe that moment as screaming. That's not my word that's theirs. And please don't mention the songs bigger or spiriiiiririittt

Yall must be young. As haghive I distinctly remember Kelly being livid when Halo came out because Ryan essentially took the song he gave her (Already Gone) and rewrote it and it was a smash for B.

Can we talk about the fact that Bey is still inside the Top5 most streamed artists in the UK for a second? They really deserve some exclusive content from her for their devotion

A lot Bey's songs are just not meant to be covered by another artists, much like Whitney's catalog.

I get chills every time I hear her sing "I am colder than Titanic water".

Interesting point . I Agree and honesty Kelly is a Great Vocalist .

 

However i must say my gut when watching the interview on her show a week or so ago which also was docking on CC . Idk i feel like something is a lil bit off in my gut...i dont think she dislikes her or so but maybe a tad bit jeaous or something ....i might be wrong .

Also whats interesting . All her Dancers had Platinum hair during the Tour and she ended the Renaissance Era in Platinum Blond goinginto CC with Platinum hair...i wonder if that has any meaning .
