OMG I have been listening to this performance on repeat for weeks! I AM YOURS... VEGAS is what the "I Am" side should have been! It is just simply divine and some of her BEST vocal performances of her career. Hello, Halo, Sweet Dreams medley... just breathtaking! I actually think the I am Yours version is also the BEST version of Halo!

"RENAISSANCE" ALONE has so much potential, and if the theories pan out to be even remotely close, it could be a monumental musical film release.  

I believe the rumors that act 1 and 2 are merged together as visuals

I think maybe she's holding off releasing RTW live album so she can release all 3 tour live albums together with the box set of the 3 acts. Most people won't want to buy the 3 vinyls packaged together if they've already purchased them separately so having the live albums will be its main selling point.

I generally don't like collabs so I'm not moved by the idea of them

I don't foresee any white features on the album. if you go through her discography, it's actually VERY rare for her to have white artists on a standard album release. especially when she has this important of a thesis statement, I imagine she'll be highlighting more Black talent. (potential Dolly cover aside)

 

Tracy Chapman seems like a no brainer to me. Gary Clark Jr is also very likely. Brittney Spencer and Yola could be songwriters easily.

100% believe this. 16C and her recent caption confirmed it for me there be some rock influences here instead of it being one separate act like how most think.

It would be cute to pay tribute to white country artists the way she did for Madonna in act i. Like she's gonna give Dolly etc their flowers for sure but that can be an offshoot of the album.

Folk, blues, country-rap, bluegrass, country rock, americana, etc.

Gospel and Blues for sure! And hints of R and B and POP.  I think she's saving rock. More likely trap country if anything else.

 

I came across this song and would love a song like this + I love the cheekiness of the lyrics

All those big pop girls' collaborations' ideas make my skin crawl. It's just such a bad idea and it wouldn't work. Plus having to deal with their fans after the fact is annoying as hell. 

 

Let the collaborations be few and very understated like Renaissance.
