I remember being just impressed as a kid since I knew their voices, but as an adult, it's otherworldly how good this album is vocally.

It's so funny that people always come for Beyoncé and samples, especially with RENAISSANCE where the theme is literally rebirth...

 

BUT.

 

The whole idea that she relies on samples is HILARIOUS because:

• Virgo's Groove, the fan favourite track of the album contains ZERO samples.
• CUFF IT the GP favourite of the album contains ZERO samples.

 

So like if she really needs samples to make good music how come both the GP and the fans seem to prefer the two that don't use samples?!
