While I agree with the points you brought up, I am very happy she did a a tour like Formation and that something like it exists in her catalog.

 

Even though it is not as heavy on big vocals, it was pushing almost inhumane levels of dancing and high energy. And that only solidifies why she is one of if not the GOAT. The only other performer I can think has something to match would be Janet, but Janet lip-synched a lot more and the parts that were live were... well not that great. Beyonce still sang her **** exceptionally well despite performing like a gladiator on stage. And there were nice vocal-focused moments sprinkled here and there throughout the show, like Running/All Night, 1+1, the Prince tribute, Halo..

 

That show was really such a big milestone in her career. She was at the top of the world in terms of acclaim and reverence, it was her first solo stadium tour, it was the first all stadium tour by a black artist, she was at her peak as a performer, something she's been carefully mastering for almost 2 decades at that point. It's really such a travesty that is was not cemented in history with a concert special for the world to rewatch in awe over the years.

It will really be a CRIME if we don’t get the RWT dvd on a streaming platform… like I’m rewatching these cam footage like crazy, I need it in HD!!

We need it on 4K UHD disc tbh, I don’t **** with digital only. I want to pay once to own this, not stream it or rent it or whatever the kids do nowadays
