A song needn't be a ballad for it to express sadness. Nor does it have to be all sad to convey a sense of emotional depth. The entire message of the track is feeling this immense weight finally being lifted off one's shoulders in a moment of mindless celebration through releasing the wiggle.

 

CG is probably still my least favourite song on the album but I must say I started appreciating it a lot more after I read through the lyrics on Genius

that's literally what I said... it's an uplifting song. it talks about getting out of a sad situation. that does not make it a sad song. it's a positive, hopeful tune.

 

if it connects with you on a deeper level and makes you cry, that's cute. but it isn't sad. can we please pick up a dictionary and look up what sad means? please.
