This is how I would change the show for the NA leg:

 

-at the beginning the male voice will say 'ladies and gentlemen, in opening for tonight's show, Beyoncé' instead of  just 'ladies and gentlemen, Beyoncé'. I feel like the idea of her being her own opening act doe snot comes across clear enough.
 

-Opulence needs to go. This has been a chore to sit through at both of my shows and I will die on this hill. A lot of effort for minimal reward. Formation will be performed at the beginning of the Anointed section before Church Girl, the rest are OUT.
 

-With the energy and time she's saved from that, she will do the following

*Sweet Dreams is properly performed after Alien Superstar and before the Lift Off outro

*Cuff It and Virgo's Groove are revamped to feature choreography on the second parts of the performances (these were by far the biggest Ren letdowns)

*Thique/AUIYM/DIL are back in for good

*She will dance some for Honey as well

 

-the disco ball will actually reflect lights and spin during Virgo's Groove and Naughty Girl and not just stand there hanging 

 

-for Summer Renaissance after she arrives on Reneigh in Club Renaissance, instead of being suspended in the air again she will come down and do another lap of the outer circle with the dancers waving the audience goodbye; the 'collect your coins Beyoncé' part will be included too. 
 

I don’t know what the Opulence portion consists of but I like the rest of your changes.

Opulence is the Formation-Diva-RTW-My Power / Black Parade-Savage-Partition segment. This might be controversial but I think this segment drags the show down. It's when she dances the most so quite taxing on her stamina but not worth it in my opinion. 

 

She obviously can't dance like before and a lot of these performances are heavily dependent of the hard hitting moves. They weren't quite hitting as usual, so I think it'd be a good trade off for her to do some groovy moves for Cuff It and VG instead which are not as demanding. Formation is quintessential for this new era Beyonce so it's a must, but it fits the Anointed segment very well so it can be performed there. 

 

RTW and Diva are tired at this point; one could make the case that they are hits that the GP recognizes but we'll have Sweet Dreams and DIL instead. If they know Diva they'll know SD too and DIL is probably just as big as RTW for her. 

 

The tank portion is a bit of a cringe, mostly due to Savage which is about time y'all admit is not good. Black parade is such an obscure song and not even a fan favorite, and neither is it a display of good vocals or dancing unlike Rather Die Young. I think most would want Renaissance performed in full instead of it. The audience was definitely louder for Thique in my experience. Partition on the tank just doesn't work. 

 

Since we now know the show was not cut because of a curfew, it is most probably because it was too long for her. If something should be cut I would rather have it be Opulence. Some of the other performances could get enhanced as a result and the Thique/AUIYM/DIL segment which was a highlight can be back in. In its current form she only goes on the outer ring once during BMS.

Y’all I’m seeing her today AHHHH. Question to the CR people which I assume is all of y’all, how early did you queue up? I’ve seen so many tiktoks that say that it’s not actually necessary to queue up really really early since there’s a good amount of space in the section.

 

I’m gonna be going by myself so I feel like I can manoeuvre my way to the corners of CR.

But regardless of wat I or anybody else thinks of it, I think most of us (you included) would take the DIL segment and Sweet Dreams over it. Which was the point I was trying to get across. 

Anyone have any other essential info for Club Renaissance today?

 

Got the tickets (phone and printed), entrance details and times. I think that's it ?

Unless you want to be right at the barricade (which you have already lost the opportunity for, should have gone in the morning) then you are fine, yes. You'll still be be very close and like 3rd person from the barricade even if you go like 5pm. It's spacious and people will move around a lot, both to the bar that is inside and when she goes around the outer ring, everyone will run after her lmao.

Yeah I gave up on the barricade bc I just couldn’t do 10+ hours of standing and waiting especially by myself mno it was not an option. But alright I’ll get there for 3, that gives me time to get a shape up and get myself together. Thank you!  
 

By any chance do you know the best places to stand? I’ve heard that the front of the CR stage or the inner corners are the best places to see her.

Was hardly any of this at my shows but maybe it will resonate differently with the US audiences. Ideally we would have both yes, but sadly it has not been the case since opening night. The DIL segment was a highlight in my opinion, and if I have to trade something else to have it back in, it would be this.

Well yeah those are the best. The tip of the runway will be the most crowded so you're probably better off being a bit to the side, you'll still have a very good look and probably be closer. The inner corners are good too, especially if you can get really close. She'll twerk in front of you during BMS like that viral clip if you're on the left side. But she will spend more time at the front of the CR stage than on the runway so keep that in mind.

Yes but we in Club Renaissance were lit, it's the locals in the seated sections that were quiet  @Mitsouko can confirm

The Opulence section is actually one of the best parts of the show, yall just afraid to admit that. The main reason that section is feeling off is because it's very dance heavy and the dancers on this tour just aren't as synchronous as previous tours and it's making the whole section look messy and unappealing. 

 

Imagine saying Savage is not good... That song gets the whole crowd hype and should definitely say. If anything should be cut from that section is Partition (which I love so much but it just doesn't hit like it should) and Black Parade should be shortened. Diva is a staple and should stay, she obviously loves it and is trying hard to make it one of her signature songs. 

 

I think it's funny how people say the show doesn't cater to the GP but then want to cut songs like RTW and Diva. If we're really being honest, what should be cut is RDY and at least one song from the opening. Don't sell merch saying No Skips if you're gonna skip Thique and AUIYM. Drunk In Love needs to come back. I honestly don't know what she's thinking leaving it off. Yes it's a Renaissance tour but it's a Renaissance STADIUM tour. I love her with my whole heart but a little compromise and awareness that the whole stadium aren't your average BeyHive stans but partially the GP that want to hear songs like Drunk might be good. 

Partition looks underwhelming, while Diva, Savage, RTW and Formation are the core of the Opulence segment. 

 

I have always preferred Yoncé to Partition, in fact I wish she sang it over Partition, but during my date in Brussels she said something like "I know this is one of y'all faves", so It's staying.

If you want to be front or second row, the earlier the better. But any place at Club Ren is great. I started queing at 12.30 and just about got front row.

Inner corners are good. Being quite close to the main stage but also along the runway(s) is a good spot. It's also generally quite relaxed in club ren and people are mature, so if you have a spot you should be able to move in and out to grab water.

Oh, and as someone else has already said, the Sweet Dreams sample on Alien Superstar doesn't work well. It sounds totally out of place

 

However, the rest of the songs off Renaissance sound great live. 

The music arrangement provided on this tour is truly a step up compared to the FWT.

Omg yess, I befriended a group of 3 Belgian girls in line at the Brussels show and they told me they're very excited to hear Partition. They didn't know a lot of lyrics but SCREAMED the french part in Partition from the top of their lungs

The Opulence section is one of my favourite parts to be honest. I just love seeing all the classic choreo and I like the staging a lot too. The silver aesthetic looks really good. Furthermore despite the fact that she's seated for Black Parade / Savage / Partition she is serving energy and the tank looks incredible both in pictures and irl.
