By this point, everyone has basically made up their minds about whether or not they like Renaissance. Tik Tok has come up with dances. There are viral challenges for certain sounds. Etc.

"Back Up", "Creole", and "Lost Yo Mind" (Circuit City , Best Buy, and ITunes exclusive tracks) definitely come to mind as B'Day 20th anniversary tracklist additions. 

I would love if she did re-recordings like Usher did for My Ways anniversary. Her voice has changed so much from 2003. I would love to hear her sing Speechless, Signs, or Dangerously in Love with her current voice

They way they tryna memory-hole #ClubRenaissance. As if the album wasn't being played front to back across cities for like 6 months. 

I will say, for all of the noise, there is a hint of truth I think those people are getting at. And that is, the era went STALE because Bey decided not to do anything with the hype/energy. 

 

But that frustration is misplaced and being unnecessarily pinned on the quality of the album.

 

They can (and should) drag the era all they want, but the music itself speaks for itself. And that's something they can't change.

Most Beyoncé hate on here is racially motivated because she seems to outlast her white contemporaries (Brit/Gaga) so they get their win in when they can. It’s just a way for them to finally get their muted opinions out. Renaissance is beloved, acclaimed and successful.

 

The reason the reaction made so much noise is cause Renaissance is so loved even amongst even pop stans, so they’ll feel validated for a couple days. We’ll move on to the tour soon and further success and acclaim for this album will continue.

This is a good point.

 

It's something that always comes up with Beyoncé. One person has the audacity to call her or her work "overrated" without any valid talking points and suddenly everyone else who has ever "not got" Beyoncé feels seen and speaks up too, adding their own nonsense, non-existing reasons for disliking her, or bringing in reasons that no one ever used to rate the album / artist well in the first place.

 

It's very annoying but I guess comes with the territory of being considered one of the best. Since not everyone has taste, and being told you don't have taste isn't welcomed, there's gonna be push back.

I kind of feel it would be weird if she just suddenly starting approaching her career in such a way that she was counting down to her doing things. She knows she doesn't need to leave crumbs to get people hyped. They already are hyped and if they aren't, they'll be just as hyped if not more when out of nowhere they are met with the first images/videos of the tour.

I feel if she redid Signs and maybe changed the production a bit, it could go viral. The chorus is not only catchy but hilarious too, perfectly suited for the TikTok age, imo.

to be honest as usual she'll be the main event. Its basically guaranteed some segments will go viral - she knows it. nö need for visuals when you have the potential to go viral based on your mere talent
