I think they're ignoring local stats as well, like Adele's impressive 200K pure sales 2nd week.

I think the reason why certain adele stans act like that is because nowadays everything adele achieves is seen as unimpressive or below standards as if she isn't still moving great numbers. We can't be on top forever and adele is taking it on gracefully so there isnt need to compare her to anyone especially when her career is is unique in this day and age.

 

OT: Wow look at Miss Globalkins 

She debuted at #1 everywhere except for the country where she isn't strong (Japan, #5) and countries where she was blocked by massive local artists (Marracash in Italy, Orelsan in France and Belgium-Wallonia, Viktor Sheen in the Czech Republic and Slovakia - all #2). As expected!
